Biography
John T. Moriarty has written essays for the Cleveland Plain Dealer Magazine and short stories for various religious periodicals. He is listed in the Literary Art's section of Marguis Millennium Edition of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World.
* Moriarty had been a business owner in the field of transportation, and also previously employed by leaders in the transport industry for 47 years
* During the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis he served with the 1st Armored Division's 16th Combat Engirneer of that era, and was included in an advance detail stationed at Ft. Stewart, Georgia for deployment to Cuba had there been an invasion.
* Honorably discharged in 1963 he returned to Cleveland, Ohio to resume employment with the Norfolk and Western Railroad to engage in legal work in loss and damage and freight rate negotiation, as well as compose and write demurrage and storage tariffs for the industry.
* Moriarty attended Cleveland State University and Ohio University recieving credits to practice law before the Interstate Commerce Commission.
